The Seven Deadly Sins officially confirmed their Season 3 Japanese release date.
The third season titled, The Seven Deadly Sins: Wrath of the Gods, will officially air on October 9th at 5:55 pm on TV Tokyo. It will subsequently air every Wednesday for the rest of the season. It will also air on BS TV Tokyo on October 10.

The series will see the Seven Deadly Sins continue their fight against the Ten Commandments as they work to free Britannia from demonic influence. The series promises to head towards a climax and will finally reveal the secrets of the world.
This third season is being produced by Studio DEEN. The previous two seasons and the film were done by A-1 Pictures.
The third season is directed by Susumu Nishizawa. He’s joined by Rintarou Ikeda, who will handle the series compositions. Composers include Takafumi Wada, Hiroyuki Sawano, and Kohta Yamamoto. Rie Nishino is in charge of “animation character setting.”
The new series will see much of the main cast return. Yuuki Kaji returns as Meliodas, Sora Amamiya voices Elizabeth, Misaki Kuno is Hawk, Aoi Yūki returns as Diane, Tatsuhisa Suzuki voices Ban, Jun Fukuyama is King, Yuuhei Takagi will be Gowther, Maaya Sakamoto voices Merlin, and Tomokazu Sugita is Escanor.
The Seven Deadly Sins is based on Nakaba Suzuki’s The Seven Deadly Sins manga, Nanatsu no Taizai: Kamigami no Gekirin or The Seven Deadly Sins: Wrath of the Gods. The manga is still being published in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine. It first appeared in 2012.
The manga has been collected in 38 tankobon volumes as of September 2019. In 2018, there were over 28 million copies of The Seven Deadly Sins in circulation.
It’s unclear when the third season will arrive on Netflix.

Episode 20 will be released soon and everyone is curious about what twists and turns the anime series will take. Here are a few spoilers of the episode.
1. Arthur Discovers Meliodas’ Plan!
Arthur goes on searching for the Castle of Camelot to retrieve the Holy Sword. He wants to free the people of Camelot from Zeldris and his demon army. He comes face to face with Zeldris and to his surprise finds Meliodas standing next to the demon. Meliodas tells Arthur that he has abandoned the Sins and has allied with the demons. Arthur will be trying to convince Meliodas to go back to Elizabeth but will be turned down by Meliodas.
2. What is Merlin thinking; will we get to see Ban?
Merlin becomes desperate and wants to search for Arthur, to which every member of the Seven Deadly Sins disagrees. When King asks the reason for her worry and why is she so desperate to find Arthur, she tells him “Arthur is the child of hope who is chosen by the Holy Sword and will lead the Kingdom of Britannia someday”.
We might also catch a glimpse of Ban searching for Meliodas’ emotions in Purgatory. Ban can be shown trying to cope with the harsh conditions of the purgatory and search for the emotions of Meliodas so that he can get his friend back.

About Seven Deadly Sins
The Seven Deadly Sins are a group of Holy Knights in the land of Britannia. The Kingdom disbanded them ten years earlier for evidently plotting a coup of the Liones Kingdom. Many thought that they were defeated by Holy Knights. But rumors continued to persist and some believed they were still alive.
Ten years later the Holy Knights staged a coup d’etat thereby capturing the king and becoming the new ruler of the Kingdom. The youngest daughter of the king, Princess Elizabeth, sets out on a journey to find the Seven Deadly Sins and enlist their help in taking back the kingdom.
